Used when on a pipeline it is requested to reduce the inlet pressure of more than its half. Composed of a series of more than one restriction orifice, reduce progressively the pressure inside the pipeline, avoiding erosion of materials and disliked noises, typical when the same pressure loss is obtained by a unique restriction orifice.
